Guduchi is a special herb from the Himalayan region, botanically named Tinospora cordifolia.
For thousands of years Guduchi has been known and highly valued for its beneficial properties and has become a well-known classical herb, also in the Western world and in the growing field of Ayurvedic products.
Powdered heart leaf drabsne is used in Ayurveda for diabetes, diseases of the urinary system and to help remove toxins from the body. It is used to support the normal functioning of the digestive and urinary systems. It helps purify the blood, and is used during flu and fever.
In Ayurveda Guduchi is used in acute infections, as a digestive support and diuretic. May be useful for high uric acid, gout, weakness, various urinary tract infections, dyspepsia, diarrhoea, rheumatism, constipation, jaundice, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis, malaria and tuberculosis.
Guduchi supports normal urinary system function, relieves burning sensation, relieves excessive thirst and premature satiety. Promotes absorption of nutrients in the stomach and intestines, eliminates amnesia. Increases body endurance. Helps to eliminate various worms.
Method of use:
Forinternal use (according to Ayurvedic treatises): Take 0.5 teaspoon of powder 2-3 times a day after meals with warm boiled water.
Contraindications: Individual intolerance to ingredients, open ulcers, chronic gastritis. It is recommended to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before use. Despite its harmlessness, use with caution during pregnancy, better still avoid.
Diabetics: the herb lowers blood sugar levels, especially when taking other antidiabetic drugs. It is therefore necessary to take Guduchi powder under strict medical supervision.
