The mango tree is mainly grown in the tropics of India and Southeast Asia, and its delicious mango fruit is considered the "king of fruits". Mangoes are easily digestible and contain vitamins A, B6, C and E, phosphorus and calcium, as well as enzymes such as magneferrin, catechol oxidase, lactase and high levels of tryptophan. Mangoes are also a good source of potassium, magnesium and copper. It is said to help protect vision, fight microbial infections and promote better brain development.

Mango puree, also known as Aamras (ripe mango puree), is a popular sweet dessert, especially enjoyed during the summer months. This is a dessert that is very easy to prepare: just mix organic mango puree with a few ice cubes, milk (or rice milk) and a little raw sugar or Šarkara mixer, and the most delicious treat is ready. You can mix in Kesar (saffron) or cardamom powder for an incredible taste like you've never tasted before!

Cosmoveda organic mango puree is sourced from organic and fair trade projects in Sri Lanka. It is made from sun-ripened, wild mangoes through a gentle blending process.
