Yogis have revered copper cups as the ideal vessel to positively charge water before drinking it. The Yogis stored the water in their copper pot, called Kamandalam. In traditional Indian households, copper drinking cups such as the ones we offer here are still in use today.

Instructions for using and maintaining a copper cup
In the evening, fill the copper cup with cold water and leave it overnight. In the morning, when you get up, drink this water. This water is recommended in Ayurvedic science because it is said to be a purifier of the whole physiology. From a scientific point of view, copper, which is an essential mineral for the human body, is absorbed by water.

Copper is a natural substance that tends to darken due to oxidation. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the copper cup regularly. To do this, add a teaspoon each of lemon juice and salt to the cup, mix and clean with a sponge or cloth. The outside of the cup can be cleaned in the same way. Then rinse the cup again with water. This cleaning method should be repeated regularly to prevent corrosion of the copper cup.

The copper cup has a capacity of approximately 0,25 litres.
