Kutajarishta is one of a number of Ayurvedic fermented or probiotic liquids called arishta that are usually consumed in small amounts as a drink to supplement the daily diet.
Kutajarishta contains a very small percentage of homemade alcohol with a combination of supporting and balancing Ayurvedic herbs such as Kutaj (Holarrhena antidysenterica), Fire Flame Bush (Woodfordia fructicosa) and Indian Butter Tree (Madhuca indica).

Usage:
For adults: 15-30 ml 2 times a day, drinking the same amount of water (see measuring cup). 6% by volume alcohol.
The minimum and maximum recommended daily rate (30/60 ml) consists of the following components: Water (water) 18.4/36.8 ml, Vitis vinifera (grapes) 4101/8202 mg, cane sugar (sumacor) 3000/6000 mg, alcohol 1.8/3.6 ml, Holarrhena antidysenterica 1092/2184 mg, Woodfordia fruticosa 765/1530 mg, Madhuca indica 657/1314 mg, Gmelina arborea 164/329 mg.
